We are just some average people that want to get more out of their yards. Whether that’s better appearance or a whole crop, that’s the aim of this site.  We will document what works, doesn’t, and all the levels in-between. We hope you find the site informative and entertaining.

Scott and Liz are avid gardeners although not all that accomplished.  Living in Phoenix Arizona has contributed to a fair share of scortched plants and sunburned backs.  While the summer heat has not been kind to our tomatos, it has afforded us the opportunity to learn a great amount about moisture retention and sprinkler systems.

Our goal is to have a productive yard that not only produces edible fruit and veggies, but also is wonderful to look at.
